Ivermectin Access in Chattanooga
Hamilton County's independent pharmacies are located primarily in two areas: the North Shore neighborhood along Cherokee Boulevard, and the Hixson corridor along Highway 153 north of downtown. Several have adopted the CPPA framework under Tennessee SB 2188.
Chattanooga also serves neighboring Tennessee counties — Bradley County (Cleveland, about 25 miles northeast on I-75) and Marion County (Jasper, about 30 miles northwest). Neither has the pharmacy density that Chattanooga offers.
Georgia does not have a CPPA-equivalent law. Patients from Ringgold, Dalton, and Rome, Georgia cross into Tennessee specifically for pharmacist-authorized ivermectin access. Georgia's state line at Ringgold is about 12 miles south of downtown Chattanooga on I-75.

Georgia Patients
Georgia does not have a law permitting pharmacists to dispense ivermectin without a physician prescription. Chattanooga is the most practical option for Georgia residents near the state line. From Dalton — about 35 miles south on I-75 — a Chattanooga pharmacy trip is about 40 minutes each way.
